Vicki Malpass is a Program Officer in Winrock International’s U.S. Civil Society and Economic Development unit. She is responsible for implementing economic development projects focusing specifically on entrepreneurial development. She works directly with startup companies and entrepreneurs in order to ascertain the level of technical assistance required to enable those companies to move toward the ultimate goal of commercialization. Ms. Malpass also acts as a liaison between program subcontractors and the program office, overseeing budgets, managing subawards, researching and implementing client tracking systems. Malpass has overseen more than $14 million in federal and state funding to date. She has served as budget manager for the Innovate Arkansas program, ARK Challenge, several USDA Rural Business Enterprise Grants, Cameron Parish CLEAR Project, I-20 Rural Jobs and Innovation Accelerator project, SBA PRIME program, and the Arkansas Women’s Business Center. Prior to receiving Bachelor’s Degrees in English and Professional Technical Writing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Ms. Malpass worked as a Registered Sales Assistant at Morgan Stanley offices in Washington, DC and Little Rock, Arkansas where she performed client service duties for a portfolio of clients with total net assets under management exceeding $100 million.
